I didn't see it in the Volokh post, but a couple very interesting articles have discussed property law issues in such online games. For instance, Greg Lastowka and Dan Hunter, "The Laws of Virtual Worlds" has a good section on property in such virtual games; Joshua Fairfield, "Virtual Property," gets at it as well. More opportunity for property teachers opening a 1L class with "So, what is Property?"
